Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Anne McClenny, February 3, 1950. She is an American actress. The actress gained fame in the final decade of 1970 and in the in the early 1980s, playing roles in several television series that she presented a glamourous image. Fairchild was first noticed in The CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She starred in 1978 in the soap opera of the same name Dallas in the role of being the very first actor to portray Jenna Wade before taking a part in the lead role of the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). She co-starred with ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls in 1984. She also was on the show as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild was actively involved in theatre and in the roles of guest stars for TV shows like Roseanne Cybill, Friends as well as Murphy Brown. For the former, she was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
