Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain and her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother working in rehearsals for plays. Anna was a part of numerous commercials in her early years. Then, in November 1999 Anna moved to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She ended up shifting to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. She was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' workshop in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in 2009. Anna was just recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo's similar-sex romance with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted on CNN's list of the top Favorite TV Couples and named the Top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. The success of the show has led to Anna amassing a significant audience on social networks.
